Clinical Research and Co-Management of Clinical Education

Dr. sc. hum. Henrik Jungaberle

Dr. sc. hum. Henrik Jungaberle is a health, prevention and psychotherapy researcher. Together with the OVID Clinic management and Dr. rer. nat. Max Wolff, he develops the concept and supervises research at the OVID Clinic Berlin - and adds to the training of the staff.

Henrik Jungaberle is the CEO and founding director of OVID's partner organization, the MIND Foundation. He conducts research in the fields of public health, prevention and psychedelic science - and has also been a science entrepreneur together with his wife Andrea Jungaberle since 2016. He is particularly interested in new forms of learning, integration, and integrity in the use of psychoactive substances - and how to shape this on an individual, clinical, social, and political level.

In 2000, he received his doctorate from the Medical Faculty of the University of Heidelberg. For eighteen years (1996-2014) he worked at the Institute of Medical Psychology at Heidelberg University Hospital, where he led EU- and DFG-funded projects on salutogenesis and psychoactive substances. From 2013-2020, Henrik was chairman of the non-profit association FINDER, from which the MIND Foundation emerged. With his teams, he developed and teaches programs such as REBOUND (prevention of substance use disorders) and the European Prevention Curriculum EUPC. He is a developer, facilitator, and trainer in various psychedelic-related programs such as BEYOND EXPERIENCE (psychedelic integration), APT - Psychedelic Therapy Training (clinical training for physicians and psychotherapists), and head of MIND's psilocybin depression study group in Prof. Dr. med. Gerhard Gründer's EPIsoDE study.
