Dr. rer. nat. Max Wolff

Dr. rer. nat. Max Wolff is a psychologist and licensed psychotherapist. Together with the clinic management and Dr. sc. hum. Henrik Jungaberle, he designs and supervises clinical research at OVID - and adds to the training of the OVID team.

Max Wolff is also Head of Psychotherapy Training and Research at OVID's partner organization, the MIND Foundation. His research focuses on the psychotherapeutic mechanisms and contextual conditions of psychedelic psychological change and aims to apply the findings of psychotherapy research to the practice of psychedelic therapy. As a psychotherapist, he works with cognitive-behavioral, acceptance-based and emotion-focused approaches. He leads the MIND Foundation's APT program, an international training in psychedelic-augmented psychotherapy for psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals. He is also involved as a researcher and study therapist in the EPIsoDE study, a phase 2b clinical trial investigating the safety and efficacy of psilocybin in treatment-resistant depression at the Central Institute of Mental Health (ZI) Mannheim and Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
